The moving parts of armour are set up with moving rivets. Whilebowing the knee no clearance appears between those parts.The cuisses have ridges running along the whole length (it considerably reinforces the whole construction). The cuisses have side protections of the thighs. The supporting belt in its upper part is to carry over the most of weight on to the knight’s belt. This cuisse has the system of leather belts fixing it to the leg.
