Bascinet “Houndskull” | Knightly Helmet XIV-XV w. | Steel C45 2 mm

The “Houndskull” bascinet is a classic knight’s helmet with a distinctive conical, protruding visor resembling a dog’s snout. This shape efficiently disperses impact energy, provides good visibility and ventilation, while maintaining a high level of protection during combat.

The helmet is made of 2 mm C45 steel, offering solid protection while keeping the structure relatively lightweight. The visor can be equipped with a spring-loaded lock, allowing it to be quickly raised and securely held in combat position. Additionally, the bascinet can feature brass decorations, giving it a unique and personalized character.

Each helmet is handmade to measure, with full customization options for fit, finish, aventail, additional accessories, and the possibility to add brass ornaments, allowing it to be perfectly adapted to the wearer’s needs.
