Replica of a cuirass inspired by the historical original from Churburg Castle (South Tyrol, c. 1390, Milanese style), belonging to the Matsch family. Made from 2 mm steel plates, joined with leather straps and bronze buckles. The central dome-shaped plate features a distinctive V-shaped reinforcement to protect the throat from thrusting attacks.
The cuirass is decorated with brass ornaments in the original pattern, and the edges of the plates are engraved with the text: “IESUS AUTEM TRANSIENS PER MEDIUM ILLORUM IBAT” (“But Jesus passing through their midst went His way”). The entire set is secured with leather straps and buckles, available in a historical or mirror finish.
Also available in a version without brass decorations, with steel buckles and black-dyed leather straps, for those who prefer a more raw, steel look.
