These cuisses feature handcrafted hinges.

The knee cups are hot-forged from a single piece of steel. The lames are mounted on articulated rivets, ensuring that no gaps appear between the plates when the knee is bent. The cuisses have a ridge running along their entire length, significantly reinforcing the structure, and provide lateral thigh protection.

The top support strap transfers most of the weight to the knight’s belt, and the cuisses are equipped with a system of leather straps to secure them to the leg. The interior is coated with anti-corrosion paint for added durability.
