Cuisses – XIV th.c. (066)

These cuisses based on the oryginal dated a late 14th century. It was made probably in Italy.These cuisses are made of special steel C45 plate 1,5 mm thick.

The knees are forged from a single piece of steel.

The lames are mounted on articulated rivets, ensuring that no gaps appear between the plates when the knee is bent. The pieces also provide lateral thigh protection, and the top strap transfers most of the weight to the knight’s belt.

All elements feature handcrafted hinges, allowing smooth movement and enhancing the durability of the construction.
