These cuisses feature handcrafted hinges.
The lames are mounted on articulated rivets, ensuring that no gaps appear between the plates when the knee is bent. The cuisses have a ridge running along their entire length, which significantly reinforces the entire structure. They also provide lateral thigh protection. At the back, there is a brown leather guard (other leather colors are available).
The top support strap transfers most of the weight to the knight’s belt, and the cuisses are equipped with a system of leather straps to secure them to the leg.
