Open-type helmet designed in its overall form to resemble the helmet of a typical Viking warrior. All elements are joined with 4 mm rivets. The helmet features a chin strap. The shape of the nasal guard with elements suggesting eyebrows is my own design, a very loose variation on the traditional nasal and eyebrow shape, which in the original are cast in brass.
Non-hardened helmet – open-type helmet made of 2 mm thick C45 steel sheet. Fully polished. Weight: 2.2 kg.
Hardened helmet – the band, ribs, and goggles with nasal guard are made of 1.5 mm thick hardened steel sheet, hand-hammered. Weight: 1.5 kg.
