Pauldrons – Polish hussars, 1630 (028)

These vambraces are based on an original preserved in the Churburg Museum and are dated to the second half of the 15th century. They are part of the so-called Milanese armour tradition.
The elbows are hot-forged from a single piece of steel. The forearm plates are mounted on floating rivets (allowing rotation). The left elbow can be removed – beneath the large elbow cop is a smaller one.
